Tag Electricity Consumption
The biggest problem of active equipment is related to power consumption of Tag. Our tag uses lithium battery that can be recharged as well as adding functions such as sleep mode、device no move mechanism to ensure battery is used most effectively. Here we will introduce the no move mechanism of our Tag:
1. Tag uses G-sensor to determine whether system has entered static condition.
2. Tag will collect the last five positioning information and confirm that it has no moved for 3 second.
3. After confirming that it has no moved for 3 second, Tag will average the last five positioning information and make it the last positioning information.
4. Tag will enter sleep mode to save electricity, G-sensor detection frequency will lower from 50Hz to 10Hz.
5. Once G-sensor detect movement of Tag it will return to moving mode immediately.
Among them, in order to prevent the tag from changing the location map or Anchor's location during a long period of inactivity, the location information does not match the existing location information. Tag will re-accurate positioning every thirty minutes to ensure that the position during the stationary period is correct.
The following table shows the data of Tag undergoing electricity test.
Tag | Power Consumption Test | Usage Time | Test Situation |
---|---|---|---|
UTAG-9056 (430mAH) | Report per second while the card in motion. Report per minute while the card remains static | 60 days | Wearing every day during work (8:30-19:00), with about 45 working day |
Report per 0.2 second while the card in motion. Report per minute while the card remains static | 14 days | Wearing every day during work (8:30-19:00), with about 10 working day | |
Report per 0.5 second while the card in motion. Report per minute while the card remains static | 30 days | Wearing every day during work (8:30-19:00), with about 25 working day | |
Report per second while the card in motion. Report per minute while the card remains static | 150 days | Always on the desk, not worn, occasionally hit it, or shake it | |
