Overview: This Long Engineering Vehicle Collision Avoidance Warning System utilizes the latest technology of what UWB features in precision standard. This technology is capable of significantly reducing the risk of avoiding collision especially between moving vehicle and pedestrian in working spaces. Whilst the system is measuring the distance at all time, it simultaneously creates an invisible barrier to actively detect vehicle or pedestrians who exists in a hazardous area of each to reduce the likeliness of collision event. Our system features both audible and visual warning, it also has a adjustable caution range between 0.1m ~100m, which in all increases the compatibility in different occasion and environment.
There are 3 main components consists in this system:
Static Siren (Static): Suitable for deployments at entrances and exits. Detects nearby forklift that is approaching.
Forklift Siren (Dynamic): Suitable for vehicles. Detects nearby forklifts equipped with a siren and pedestrian who wears a tag.
TAG (Dynamic): Suitable for pedestrians. Detects nearby forklifts equipped with a siren and pedestrian who wears a tag.

Working principle:
When installing an anti-collision system on heavy-duty vehicles, it is recommended to have both the front and the back of the vehicle equipped with a sensing device. (UTAG-SL90F) should be installed at the front and UWB-04F (Waterproofing) or UTAG-SL90F install should be installed at the back. The device installed at the back will sense any nearby personnel carrying a TAG, and transmit a signal through the wired cable to alert the driver (visual alert: green color ) when someone is behind the vehicle.
The working principle above is applicable to all kinds of heavy-duty vehicles such as excavators, crane trucks and long vehicles, etc. Currently, there are two available solutions for customers who are interested in applying this technology in practice.
Solution A: [Waterproofing detector (UWB-04F) +10m Cable + Forklift Beacon SL90F]
When personnel approaches the detection radius, the beacon located inside the cabin will trigger an audible and visible alert to warn the driver there are nearby personnel.
Solution B: [Waterproofing detector (UWB-04F) +10m Cable + NB-IoT Forklift Beacon (SL90F-NB)]
This IoT beacon will upload interaction data recorded between UWB-04F and Tags, including the location of the vehicle and the beacon onboard. These information will be uploaded to the cloud and users can access these information via mobile devices. During emergency event, the user will also be alerted with the vehicles current GPS location and all device in contact to provide further support if required.
Temporary usage: Suitable in environments that have already established a collision avoidance system; Whenever an external or temporary entry vehicles need to enter the area, this mobile beacon (SL90F-M with battery) allows temporary access for these vehicles, this allows the vehicle to be protect and detect by the local collision avoidance system.
Anti-collision process breakdown:
1. Long vehicle anti-collision solution (UWB-LAC-A Type). In this kit you will find a waterproof detector [(UWB-04F) + Cable (standard:10m can support up to 50m) + NB - IoT (SL90F-NB)]
2. UWB-04F detects personnel TAG and other device that are within its detection circumference (Configurable distance: default setting is 5m between tags and 10m between beacon devices); UTAG-SL90F detects the distance between the operator's tag and the device itself (E.g. 2m, this number is configurable), whilst the operator's tag will not be detected by UWB-04F; However, if the TAG exceeds the detection radius of UTAG-SL90F. This TAG would still be detected by UWB-04F. The purpose of this mechanism is to protect operator during the shift changing phase which the driver is still protected whenever he/she exits the detection radius of UTAG - SL90F
3. Personnel equipped with a TAG, when approaching the long vehicle detection (UWB-04F), TAGs and forklift beacon (UTAG-SL90F). All these devices will react to this TAG and alert whenever it enters the detection coverage.

➤Alarm distance setting:
According to the different crane type, the sensing range of the induction lamp can be installed is different (for example, 5m for excavator and 8m for crane).
It is only necessary to set the sensing distance for the alarm light placed on the crane body, and it is not necessary to set the sensing range of tag for the alarm light separately.
The tag worn by the walking personnel can respond to the signal sent by the alarm light of the current type of crane according to the different operation range of the crane.
As shown in the figure below, workers may go to the range of 8m induction lamp or 5m induction lamp. If it is 5m induction lamp, there will be no alarm between 8m and 5m.
